my favorite lip products

when I became a stay at home mom, I had these ideas in my head of what it would be like. didn't we all? getting myself all nicely put together everyday, whether I leave the house or not. big joke. now I'm thrilled about stay at home days, where I can clean the house all makeup free with no bra on.  it's what I live for.  is it just a boy mom thing or are the girl moms feeling the same way?



however, lip care is something I do try to keep up with, whether I'm leaving the house or not.  I have more lip products than I do face products.  maybe because there's just sooooo many color choices.  here's a few of my favorite lip care items without comprimising that stay at home mom budget:

lip exfoliant from elf: it took me awhile to finally remember to pick some up at target, but I've been hooked every since. crazy affordable & makes those lips super soft and smooth. easy to use as well, so that's a win in my book. you can save yourself leaving the house and gets yours here.

nars lip gloss: this gloss gives my lip a nice color on days when I'm going for a subtle lip with a nice little shimmer.  this gloss stays on great too, between the straws in beverages & eating.  not terribly sticky either. love applying over my burt bees chapstick. you can snag some without even going to the mall. my kind of shopping; cringe at the thought of going to a mall with a toddler.

rimmel lip color: I was on a major hunt for a great color lip color for spring and summer...and I swatched and sampled lots. then I found this on a quick run to Walmart for some cat litter one night. It was totally meant to be. Goes on so so smooth & the perfect shade. totally in love my friends.

younique lip gloss in luscious: this gloss.. not sticky at all and the color I have is not sparkly at all.  I wear mine more for fancier occasions since it's a darker red, but I love when I get the opportunity to smear some on.  I'm not a dark lip color girl, but this one has my heart. comes in several colors.

younique lip stain in skittish: their lip stain was the first younique product I ever purchased & I have been sold ever since. hubs is even a fan since it stays where it's supposed to - no smearing, which means all day wear. doesn't get any better of those. comes in several color options.

burt bee's chapstick: need i say more? this chapstick makes my lips feel amazing when they're having a bad day.  all natural items & wonderful smell, I always keep it on hand & not even concerned to slap some on ben when he needs some.
