sidewalk chat with the ppam blog: travel

happy Friday y'all! we're 3 weeks until our 5th wedding anniversary, which means 3 weeks til we're hopping on an airplane for a little getaway in vegas. Nina is coming up for a little staycation with Ben and our beloved furbabies.

ive been prepping my packing list & what activities we dont want to miss. excited is an understatement. so its seems absolutely perfect for our sidewalk chat to start with travel, something hubs and i equally enjoy.

1. favorite trip taken? san diego hands down. the food and scenery is absolutely amazing & i look forward to going back again in the next few years. new york city is pretty amazing too, but going for a longer period so hubs and i can explore is definitely a must.

2. most desired travel location (anywhere worldwide)?  this ones a toughy. i definitely love all the views and cityscapes of Ireland & Scotland, so its up on the list. But I also have wanted to visit Asia for some time for the culture.

3. most desired travel location (domestically)? another toughy.  i have a positive outlook and reason for wanting to go to just about anywhere. name a place & i can find a good reason to visit. but if i had to pick one place that I haven't been yet, it would probably be Vermont or New Hampshire. New England area for sure!

4. how many states have you visited? let's see, its easier for me to write them out. California, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas (obviously), Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey & New York.  So currently 13 of 50. soon it'll be 14. slow and steady.

5. and finally, favorite mode of travel?  car. for sure. while flying is fabulous and gets you places quickly, cars trips are so fun. well with the right group of people. all the stops and exploring on the way that you can do. plus car dancing & truck stop food. seriously.

now its your turn!!! tell me your travel answers in the comments below.

  1. I love small day trips in the car. We are planning another one to Waco (and the silos) this summer!
